Joy Malone wants it all-power, freedom and the boyfriend who loves her. Yet when an unstoppable assassin is hired to kill her, Joy learns that being the girl with the sight comes with a price that might be too high to pay.  Love will be tested, lives will be threatened, and everyone Joy knows and cares about will be affected by her decision to either stand by Ink or leave the Twixt forever.  Her choice is balanced on a scalpel’s edge, and the consequences will be more life-altering than anyone can guess.

My Thoughts

Invisible is packed full of fantasy, mystery, lust, and intrigue.  This book is steeped in fast-paced action and hot and steamy swoon-worthy scenes.  We get a deeper look into the beautifully- original world that the author has created.

Every character has grown so much in this book.  Everyone is back, as well, as some new surprising faces.  I cannot wait to see how these new characters develop the story.  As for Ink and Joy, I have one word, HOT.  Yes, we get some hot steamy romance between the two main characters.  However, there are also times when love for families and friends threaten to tear the couple apart.  Invisible is a wild ride of emotion that leaves you breathless every time.

I cannot wait to get more of the original world created in this series of books.  The Twixt is scary, beautiful, and magical.  I love that the politics, laws, and social structures are revealed to us in this book.  The way the characters interact with both cultures feels real and believable.

The ending of this book leaves you wanting answers and craving more. I cannot wait to see where this story is going to go.   This is a fast-paced fantasy, with magical creatures that are as scary as they are beautiful.

Overall, this is an amazing second addition to a beautiful series.  I cannot wait to see where Joy and Ink’s story leads.  Amazing!

 5 out of 5 stars!!!!
